Job Overview
The Grand Resort is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Wine Cellar Bartender to join our hospitality team. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about wine, knowledgeable about spirits, and committed to providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will create memorable guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of beverage service and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve wine, cocktails, beer, and other beverages in a timely and professional manner
- Provide guests with recommendations on wine selections, spirits, and beverage pairings
- Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked wine cellar and bar area
- Verify guest age and ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations
- Handle guest questions and concerns in a courteous and professional manner
- Work collaboratively with restaurant and resort staff to provide seamless service
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience required
- Strong knowledge of wine, liquor and cocktail preparation
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication
- Must be dependable, professional, and team-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a resort, hotel, fine dining or upscale hospitality environment
- Wine education, certification or sommelier training is a plus
Schedule
- Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
